MANUFACTURER RETURN POLICY - LED
DEFINITIONS FOR PRODUCT RETURN
In these conditions 'the Company' means Lingshan Trading Company Limited, the ‘manufacturer’ means the original issuer of any warranty, and 'the Customer' means the person or company to whom this document is addressed. To be served alongside the company T&C and the company Warranty.
RETURNS INSTRUCTION for MANUFACTURER RETURN POLICY
A product that is or that becomes defective, due to manufacturer fault, during its stated warranty period will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, at its discretion, as per the company warranty policy.
The customer is to immediately report to the company in writing for request of a unique Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). The customer must be in possession of a RAN before any return will be recognised by the company.
Only defective products that are inside the company valid warranty will be recognised by the company. Any defective product outside of the product warranty date will need to be individually discussed with the company on a unique product for product basis.
The product must be re-packaged and shipped in its original packaging and with all original parts & documentation and returned to the company address by a recognised courier or agent and the company unique RAN clearly attached.
The company does not cover the cost of return shipping the product to the company for replacement or repair.
The company will forward written receipt of the product RAN to the customer.
INSPECTION OF PRODUCT UNDER MANUFACTURER RETURN POLICY
Once the company is in receipt, the defective product will be returned to the manufacturer, at the company expense, for manufacturer inspection.
It is solely the manufacturer’s decision to confirm that the product is suffering from a manufacturers fault. The manufacturer decision is final. It is not the responsibility of the company to determine the individual defects of products. Please refer to the company warranty.
All defective products suffering manufacturer fault will be repaired/replaced and returned to the customers original delivery address at the company expense and under the its unique RAN.
All defective products suffering an alternative fault including but not limited to, breakage, misuse, over-heat, incorrect-voltage will be given a separate report for customer reference. In this instance, the company will forward a quotation to the customer informing the customer of total costs involved to repair/replace and return this to the customer. The customer must confirm in writing to the company the acceptance of any costs incurred for any repair / replacement before the company will proceed further.
All products ordered from the company will have a manufacturer ID and warranty expiry date stamp attached to the product. The warranty will be valid until the last day of the calendar month of the warranty period. It is important that this date stamp is not tampered with or removed or it could invalidate and void the warranty of the product.
All repaired/replacement items will display the original manufacturer expiry date stamp. This means that any repaired/replacement items will be under warranty from the original manufacturer date of the defective product. A new warranty will not be re-started for these products.
